Site Rules.

So. As you probably know. We need to have site rules. So here are them. Read them carefully.

FORUM RULES:

If you find a user in violation of the below rules, do not hesitate to contact any of the Moderators / Administrators. Or use the report post button under the user's name/avatar on any specific post.

Registering and posting on these forums is an agreement of reading and understanding these rules. We will not accept "I didn't see the rules" as an excuse for misbehaviour.
If you have any problems or queries, feel free to contact a staff member via PM.


Infraction Points:

Infraction Points can be added/removed by any moderator, and allows us to keep a record of your infractions.
They will build up on each other if multiple offences are performed, and will not expire until after a period of which you will be on 'probation'.

Points for bans:
3 Points = 3 Day Ban
5 Points = 7 Day Ban
10 Points = 3 Week Ban
14 Points = 1 Year Ban
15 Points = Permanent Ban

1. NO WAREZ / ILLEGAL CONTENT
This includes attaching, posting links to, or dicussing this kind of content. This also includes serial numbers to products.
(EXCLUDES IPOD FIRMWARE)

2. NO PORNOGRAPHY
This includes attaching, posting links to, or dicussing this kind of content.

3. DO NOT DISCUSS DRUGS OR YOUR STUPID BEHAVIOR
We don't care how much of a ****head you can be or how much dope you smoked last night. Don't post this crap.

4. DO NOT BE RACIST, SACRILEGIOUS, SEXIST OR PREJUDICE
Do not talk in a negitive way about other races, countrys, religions/religious beleifs and/or sexes. If you have your own opinions about this stuff, keep it to yourself.

5. DO NOT BYPASS THE SWEARING FILTERS
We don't want to know how many offensive words you can say by bypassing our filters. If you want to swear, let our censors replace it with asterisks.

6. NO INVASION OF PRIVACY OR IMPERSONATION OF OTHERS
If someone wants to keep something private that you know, keep it private. If its something you wouldnt want someone else to know, then keep your mouth shut. And do NOT pretend to be other people. This includes making accounts to pretend to be them, hacking their accounts and pretending to be them or just on the spot impressions.

Punishment (for all of the above): Anywhere from 1-5 infraction points or whatever the moderator/administrator feels is necessary.

Ethical Rules.
Don't copy/paste tutorials from other sites without giving credit for the true real authors.
Punishment: Your thread will be deleted.

Spam:

1. DO NOT DOUBLE/CROSS POST
Double posting makes this place cluttered and harder to read threads! If you want to add information, click the EDIT button!
Punishment: Additional posts merged.
If this continues to happen, 1-2 infraction points.

2. DO NOT FLAME AT PEOPLE
If you disagree with someone, do not yell at them, abuse them, etc.
Punishment: 3 infraction points

3. SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST
Before you post, PLEASE search to see if your question has already been asked/answered.
Punishemt: Thread locked and further punishment decided by moderator.

4. DO NOT ADVERTISE YOUR SITE WITHOUT PERMISSION
If you would like to advertise your site in any thread, you MUST have permission from an administrator. (Contact one of the admins.)
Punishment: 3 infraction points and post removed/edited. If this continues, 5 infraction points and if again, 14 infraction points. If after you return this still continues, 15 infraction points.

5. NO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
Multiple accounts are usually used to get around bans. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE issue.
NOTE: If you wish to make a new one, please contact an admin for permission to do so. You will be watched ever so carefully and if we see that you are using one account to break rules, flame, etc. we will automatically ban you as stated in the above rule.

Punishment: Accounts merged
If this continues, 15 infraction points.

6. NO USE OF CHATBOX ADMIN COMMANDS
Do not use chatbox commands for admins. If you can use them. Please notify an admin or moderator.

Punishment:
1st time; Warning
2nd time: Banning of the chatbox until the moderator or admin says so.
3rd time: Account ban for 3 days.
4th time: Account ban forever.

7. DO NOT ACT LIKE A MODERATOR / ADMINISTRATOR
The jobs are designated for such people so they can take care of it. Many people get angry when someone with the same amount of power as them act superior and tell them what/ or what not to do. We understand that is 90% of the time for the good of the forum, but just let us do our job.
